Accelerating the Cure: Breakthrough T1D is a presentation and interactive experience about Breakthrough T1D. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness about Type 1 Diabetes, and how Breakthrough T1D is trying to develop a cure for the disease. After the presentation is over, we will have an interactive activity where attending students, staff, and faculty, will learn about managing the financial side of diabetes. This event is part of my fraternity’s, Delta Tau Delta, annual philanthropy week.
